Pankaj Tripathi comments on box office failures; says, “I’ve always managed to return money to the producers”

Pankaj Tripathi is known for delivering strong performances in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Fukrey, Stree, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Mimi, Mirzapur and more. The actor – who reprised his role as Kaleen Bhaiya in Amazon Prime’s recently released Mirzapur 3, recently got candid about box office numbers and whether or not they affect him.

During a recent chat with New18 Showsha, Pankaj Tripathi got candid about box office failure and if they disappoint him. The actor – without pinpointing any of his films, said, “Not at all.” The actor – who was last seen in Main Atal Hoon – the under-performing biopic on the life of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, continued, “If I know that I’ve given my 100% during the shoot and stayed true to my craft, why should I feel bad about it? I understand the box office business. Fortunately, all the films I have done, whether or not they were box office successes, have managed to return money to the producers. I know the math.”
