Golmaal 5: Priyamani Turns Villain For Rohit Shetty’s Comic Caper With Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar- Report

Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal franchise has made the audience laugh their hearts out for nearly two decade now. The franchise’s next instalment, titled Golmaal 5 – which went on floors this year in February, will features the OGs of the franchise as well as stars like Akshay Kumar and Priyamani. Priyamani To Play A Baddie In Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 5

As per a Variety India report, Priyamani – known for her performances in projects like The Family Man and Article 370, will play a pivotal role in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming comedy caper. The report further states that the actress will be seen playing a negative role in the film, aka she’s play the baddie in the Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn co-starrer.

Golmaal 5 will be the first time Priyamani collabs with Rohit Shetty for a full-fledged film. She has earlier collaborated with Shetty in Chennai Express, where she appeared in the viral track 1 2 3 4 Get on the Dance Floor.

The upcoming Rohit Shetty directorial will star the franchise’s core ensemble – Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, and Kunal Kemmu. It will also see the return of Sharman Joshi – who only featured in the franchise’s first instalment – Golmaal: Fun Unlimited. This instalment will also star Akshay Kumar and Priyamani as pivotal characters.
