Priyanka Chopra is a proud businesswoman as her restaurant receives Michelin recognition

Priyanka Chopra is not only a global superstar in the truest sense but she is literally one of the busiest people out there in the world. Its not just acting that she has kept herself busy with as she has stepped into film production, invested in education, technology as well as the culinary world. And recently she got a reason to celebrate one of those ventures as her restaurant received a prestigious recognition.

In restaurant business, Michelin stars are one of the highest honours that any restaurant can get. It is a global restaurant rating system from the Michelin Guide which grades restaurants based on the caliber of food served. Priyanka Chopra established an Indian restaurant Sona in New York, early in 2021. And within such a short time, it has garnered international attention.

Last night, Priyanka posted a story on her Instagram sharing a clip of a news article that announced the 30 new NYC restaurants up for awards this year by Michelin, with Sona being one of them. Excited by the news, an elated Priyanka wrote, “Bravo, @sonanewyork! We’re starting the week strong with Michelin’s recognition (sic)”.

Apart from her restaurant business, Priyanka has had quite an eventful year on the personal front as well as she and husband Nick Jonas became parents to a baby girl, whom they named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. The new mother keeps sharing glimpses of their family moments every now and then on social media.

Even on the acting front, Priyanka has quite a hectic lineup ahead which includes global projects like Citadel, It’s All Coming Back To Me, Cowboy Ninja Viking and Ending Things, and Farhan Akhtar‘s directorial comeback Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, amongst several other films and shows.
