Priyanka Chopra Recalls Madhu Chopra Held A Cab Driver’s Neck To Protect Her
Recalling the event, Priyanka explained, “When I was around 11, we were in a cab in Delhi, staying at a hotel. Suddenly, I saw my mother grab the driver’s throat. He had taken a turn she didn’t recognise, claiming it was a shortcut, but it was just us alone in the car. She held his neck from behind and told him to return to the main road.”
Priyanka added that her mother also slapped the driver to ensure he went back to the main road. “She said, ‘I’m with my teenage daughter,’ and I had never seen that side of her before. After that, I didn’t argue with her for four months. I don’t know if she would’ve reacted like that if I weren’t with her. She was shaking when we got back to the hotel,” Priyanka shared.
