Last week, Yash announced that his highly anticipated film Toxic would not be released on June 4. Ramesh Taurani On Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai VS Peddi Box Office Clash
In a chat with HT City, Ramesh Taurani reacted to the clash and addressed whether they would change the release date again. He stated, “Ab kya kar sakte hain, kuchh nahi. Koi na koi toh aayega hi. There are 52 weeks in a year; someone will clash. It’s okay.” When asked if they planned to shift the release of the Varun Dhawan film, Taurani firmly replied, “Not at all.”
About Varun Dhawan’s Film Release
Initially slated for release on June 5, the film’s date was shifted multiple times. It was first moved to June 12 after Yash announced that Toxic would premiere on June 4 to avoid clashing with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. Later, the makers preponed the release to May 22, surprising fans with the sudden change weeks before the original date.
However, on April 29, Varun Dhawan shared a new poster confirming that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai would now release on June 5. This came after Yash posted a detailed note on social media. It revealed that Toxic would no longer arrive on June 4. The film is especially meaningful for Varun as it marks another collaboration with his father, veteran filmmaker David Dhawan. The cast includes Pooja Hegde, Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar.
About Peddi’s Release
Peddi was initially scheduled for release on March 27 but was then shifted to April 30. Later, the makers announced that the release had been postponed further, without specifying a new date. According to 123 Telugu, the latest plan is to release the film on June 4. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi stars Ram Charan, Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu.
