Fondly known as ‘Virosh’ by their fans, the couple tied the knot on February 26, 2026 (Thursday), in a celebration that beautifully highlighted their cultural roots. Recent viral images from the venue showcased an exquisite floral decor, featuring a variety of blooms such as red roses, carnations, orchids, and other exotic flowers. Additionally, stacks of banana leaves and fresh fruits were prepared to enhance the decor.

According to reports, the main wedding rituals took place at an auspicious muhurat of 8 AM on February 26. In a meaningful nod to their diverse heritage, the couple is expected to conduct two separate traditional ceremonies. One following Telugu customs to honour Vijay’s roots, and another in accordance with Rashmika’s Coorg (Kodava) traditions.

Rashmika-Vijay’s Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, the duo will next appear together in the period action drama Ranabaali. It has been directed by Rahul Sankrityan, which also features Arnold Vosloo, known for his role in The Mummy (1999).

Meanwhile, Rashmika continues to balance projects across Telugu and Hindi cinema. Her most recent Hindi theatrical release was Thamma, opposite Ayushmann Khurrana.
