Salman Khan meets Olympic Silver Medalist Mirabai Chanu; latter says, ‘It was like a dream come true’

Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu made the entire nation proud with her terrific performance in the Tokyo Olympics 2020. When Mirabai bagged the silver medal the entire nation celebrated her victory. Apart from her love for weightlifting, Mirabai also loves to watch films and superstar Salman Khan is her favourite Bollywood actor. And guess what? Mirabai recently fulfilled her long-cherished dream of meeting the Dabangg actor. The duo met on August 11 and shared pictures from their meeting on their social media handles. Salman also extended his best wishes to the weightlifter.

Taking to his social media handles, Salman posted a sweet picture with Mirabai and alongside the picture he wrote, “Happy for you silver medalist Mirabai Chanu..lovely meeting with you..best wishes always!” Thanking the superstar, Mirabai commented, “Thank you so much Salman Khan sir. I am a big fan of you and it was like a dream come true for me.”

In the viral pic, we see both Mirabai and Salman posing together while smiling for the camera. From Mirabai’s smile, it’s evident how much she is happy and excited to finally meet her favourite superstar. Apart from Salman, Mirabai also met the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in Mumbai recently.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman was last seen in Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Up next he will be seen in Tiger 3, Antim and Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali which is apparently now titled Bhaijaan.
