Shah Rukh Khan Gears Up To Kickstart Shooting For Siddharth Anand’s King From This Date

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to the big screen with his much-anticipated action thriller King. Touted as a one-of-a-kind cinematic spectacle, the film promises to showcase SRK in a never-seen-before avatar with shades of grey. As excitement builds, an update regarding it’s shoot schedule has surfaced. Reportedly, Shah Rukh will start shooting for King next month.

Shah Rukh Khan to start shooting for King

According to sources quoted by Pinkvilla, the prep work for the first schedule has already begun and Shah Rukh Khan will take charge as King from May 18. “It’s the first schedule of the film, which will begin at a studio in Mumbai. This would be followed by international legs in UAE and Europe. The team is extremely excited to begin this magnum opus, which is touted to be a one-of-its kind action thriller, with SRK in shades of grey,” the source informs the portal. We hear that King will hit the big screen in the last quarter of 2026 between October and December.

During an event at UAE, Shah Rukh revealed how the film will be entertaining. King Khan had said, “I am just just shooting it. I will be shooting it for a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He made Pathaan also. He has asked me not to reveal what we are doing. I can’t tell you but I can assure you that it will be entertaining. You will enjoy it.”

Talking about the film, Sujoy Ghosh was earlier supposed to direct the film. However, Pathaan director Siddharth Anand will not helm it. Apart from SRK, Suhana, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Munjya fame Abhay Verma. Apart from this, rumours are rife that Deepika Padukone will also feature in the film.
