Shah Rukh Khan reveals how daughter Suhana Khan reacted to his acting break

Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most popular actors of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan attended the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Thursday. At the event, Shah Rukh Khan revealed he took an acting break for months after daughter Suhana Khan moved to the US for her studies. The actor thought his daughter would feel lonely and ask him to join her but it didn’t happen. Shah Rukh Khan shares a good bond with daughter Suhana.

Speaking to Deadline, Shah Rukh Khan said, “She never called me. I didn’t sign any films and I thought, ‘Maybe she’ll call me, maybe she’ll call me.’ So, I called her one day and said, ‘Listen, may I start working now?’ and she said, ‘Why aren’t you working?’ And I said, ‘I thought you’d call me and feel lonely in New York.’”

For the uninitiated, Suhana is set to make her debut in Bollywood with The Archies. The star kid is currently busy shooting for her upcoming debut film. The Archies also stars Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Yuvraj Menda, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, and Dot. The film will be released on Netflix. Shah Rukh Khan is excited about his daughter’s debut and had earlier penned a sweet note for her on Instagram.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will make a comeback onscreen after four years with Pathaan. Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The action-thriller is slated to release on 25^th January, 2023.

Apart from that, King Khan also has Dunki in the pipeline. After wrapping up the shooting schedule of Dunki in Saudi Arabia, King Khan performed Umran at Mecca. Several pictures of him went viral on social media.
