Rumoured girlfriend Shibani Dandekar defends bf Farhan Akhtar over Amrita Puri’s remarks

After Nana Patekar, Alok Nath and others, recently, director Sajid Khan too was accused of sexual misconduct by three women in the ongoing #MeToo wave. Not many know that the ‘Housefull 4’ director is not only Farah Khan’s brother but also a cousin to Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar. A shocked Farhan soon took to his social media handle and tweeted on how shocked he was and heartbroken to know about Sajid’s behaviour towards women.

Actress Amrita Puri soon reacted to Farhan’s tweet strongly and said that she just could not believe that family members were unaware of Sajid’s action. To which the ‘Rock On’ star strongly opposed Amrita’s insinuation that he and his family members were aware of Sajid’s behaviour.

Now Farhan’s rumoured girlfriend Shibani Dandekar stood in his defence and took to her social media handle to hit back at Amrita Puri for her comments. She tweeted, “Instead of holding the culprit responsible for gross misconduct are we really blaming and shaming family members for not knowing???? really??”

Shibani next went on to slam the trollers who were stating that Farhan was aware of Sajid’s misconduct.

Sajid Khan has at present, stepped back from directing Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Housefull 4’ and so has Nana Patekar who was also a part of the hit franchise as an actor.
