Shilpa Shetty is celebrating her 48th birthday today. On her special day, Shilpa’s sister Shamita shared an adorable video on Instagram and penned a sweet note for her. Shamita called Shilpa her ‘strength, weakness and core’. The video is proof that the sisters share a close bond with each other.

Shamita’s mother Sunanda reacted to her daughter’s post. She commented, “Happiest Birthday my darling Shilpa… gr8 daughter friends mother wife – you continue to inspire – soo proud of you – Luv you & stay blessed protected & showered with tons of blessing – MA.”
Shilpa is one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. She made her screen debut in the thriller Baazigar. The actress later went on to star in films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Jaanwar, Dhadkan, Rishtey, Indian, and Apne among others.
The actress has interesting projects in the pipeline. She will be seen in KD – The Devil. Shilpa shared the first look poster of her character Satyavati from KD – The Devil in March this year.
Apart from that, Shilpa also has Rohit Shetty’s web series Indian Police Force. She wrapped up Indian Police Force shoot in January this year. The actress had shared a video from the sets on her Instagram. A part of her caption read, “It’s a WRAP on #IndianPoliceForce @itsrohitshetty, had such a blassstttt literally SHETTTTYYYYYY! I can now add a tick to my bucket list.”
