Recently, actor Suniel Shetty expressed his distress towards the situation. And now his Dhadkan co-star Shilpa Shetty has addressed the issue. She posted a reel in which we witnessed her Dhadkan raising and the reason is quite relatable.

Shilpa Shetty shares a relatable post on Tomato price

Actress Shilpa Shetty has shared a video on her Instagram handle, in which she is addressing the tomato price rise issue in a fun way. The video that features her purchasing tomatoes, but later we witness her dhadkan increases as soon as she sees the price. Sharing the video she wrote, “टमाटर ke prices are raising my Dhadkan (emojis)”.

Several celebrities have shared their opinion about the rise in price. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with a news channel a few days back, Suniel Shetty mentioned that his wife, Mana only brings vegetables for one or two days at home as they believe in eating fresh veggies. But as the price of Tomato is increasing, he has started eating fewer tomatoes these days. He also opened up about the issues he is facing in his restaurant business.

However, Suniel’s statement didn’t go down well with a section of netizens as they felt he is hurting farmer’s sentiments. Reacting to the same, Suniel clarified that he supports farmers and said, “I genuinely support our farmers. I can’t even think of having a negative perception of them and I have always worked with their support. I want us to promote our desi products and I want our farmers to always benefit from it. The farmers are an important part of my life. As a hotelier, my connections with them have always been direct.“

Shilpa’s upcoming project

On the work front, Shilpa will make her OTT debut with Rohit Shetty’s series ‘Indian Police Force’, wherein she will appear alongside actor Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in the lead role. On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, it was announced that she will be a part of Dhruva Sarja’s ambitious film ‘KD-The Devil’. Apart from this, the actress also has Sonal Joshi’s directorial Sukhee in the pipeline.
