Recently, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned Shraddha Kapoor in connection to the drug probe linked to Sushant’s death case.

According to an IANS report, Shakti Kapoor will be playing the role of a Narcotics officer in ‘Nyaay: The Justice’ which backed by Sarla A. Saraogi. Interestingly, Saraogi’s husband Ashok M. Saraogi is the lawyer of Sushant’s ex-manager Shruti Modi representing her in the ongoing investigations.

Apparently, the film’s casting is finalised. Talking about Shakti’s role, the film’s lead actor Zuber K. Khan told IANS, “Aman Verma is playing an ED officer, Shakti Kapoor sir is playing narcotics officer and Sudha Chandran ji is playing a CBI officer in the film.”

The actor further added, “Shoot has started. The storyline is getting bigger and more characters are being included. Casting has almost been completed for characters like Ankita (Lokhande), Kriti Sanon, Sara Ali Khan, Sushant’s family, his sisters, lawyer, even ex-manager Disha Salian and Shruti Modi, his staff, his cook and friends.”

Zuber also revealed that all the speculations surrounding the murder and suicide angles will be incorporated in the film. Actress Shreya Shukla will play the character inspired by Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Whereas Somi Khan will play SSR’s ex-manager Disha Salian. Bankrolled by Rahul Sharma, ‘Nyaay: The Justice’ is directed by Dilip Gulati.

Interestingly, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh had said that anyone who is planning to make a film based or inspired by the late actor’s life will have to seek the family’s permission first. So we wonder if the makers of ‘Nyaay: The Justice’ have taken the required permissions.
