Sonam quashes rumours of catfight on ‘Veere Di Wedding’ sets, slams a publication

Sonam Kapoor just took to Twitter to slap a publication for baseless assumptions, and put forward a strong message that many of B-town ladies would agree to!

We recently came across a blind report suggesting two lead actresses (who also happen to be BFFs) of a newly launched Bollywood film, had a major catfight on sets. From the description of the film provided by the publication, it pretty much looked like Sonam, her best buddy Swara Bhasker and Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming chick flick ‘Veere Di Wedding’.

Clearly, we weren’t the only ones to guess so. Sonam herself is mad at such reports and has given it back.

“Please keep in mind how outdated, irresponsible and harmful your narrative is and frustrating for a culture of women who actually want to work together. There is no place for it anymore,” part of her letter reads. (Also Read: Hey Sonam Kapoor! You have an admirer in Bhumi Pednekar)
