Sushant Singh Rajput fans express disappointment after director Mukesh Chhabra teases Dil Bechara 2: ‘Don’t ruin it for us’

Sushant Singh Rajput’s last movie in Bollywood was Dil Bechara and the actor had shared the screen with Sanjana Sanghi. Needless to say, SSR’s presence in the movie made it more authentic and heartfelt to watch it. Recently, director Mukesh Chhabra took to his Twitter (now known as X) handle and simply wrote ‘Dil Bechara 2’ and has left the netizens guessing whether a second part is in the works. However, the post has left the fans disappointed.

Fans upset after director teases with Dil Bechara 2

While the director did not share any further details about Dil Bechara 2, fans have urged not to create the movie. They have said that Dil Bechara is an emotion and creating another part would be incomplete without Sushant.

One user wrote, “Dil Bechara Is An Emotion!!! I Still Can Never Watch It In One Go!!! It’s A Request… Please Don’t Ruin It For Sushant n Us,” one of the fans wrote. “No one will watch it without Sushant in it! That movie of yours only succeeded coz of Sushant period!” another wrote. Several others simply wrote, “No SSR, No Dil Bechara.”

Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara was released in July 2020, a month after the actor was found dead in his Mumbai residence. Dil Bechara is based on an English novel The Fault in Our Stars.

Speaking with us at Bollywood Bubble, Sanjana Sanghi recalled her first meeting with SSR. She had said, “The Fault In Our Stars is a tear-jerker. And just getting to debut with someone as prolific as him (Sushant), so incredibly intelligent, so talented, was a huge gift.”
