Swara Bhasker to have ‘shehnaii-wali shaadi’ with Fahad Ahmad next month- Deets Inside

Swara Bhasker surprised everyone on Thursday when she announced her wedding with political activist Fahad Ahmad. Swara shared a video featuring her adorable moments with Fahad on Instagram. Swara and Fahad had registered their wedding in court on January 6, 2023, under the Special Marriage Act.

After sharing the video, Swara took to Twitter to share new pictures from her wedding with Fahad. The new photos show her posing with Fahad and family. In one of the pics, Swara and Fahad can be seen sharing a hug. The actress looked pretty in a red saree paired with a choker and mangtika.

She shared the pics and wrote on Twitter, “So blessed to be supported and cheered by the love of family and friends like family! Wore my mother’s sari & her jewellery… made @FahadZirarAhmad wear colour J and we registered under the #SpecialMarriageAct Now to prep for shehnaii-wala shaadi @theUdayB.”

The actress shared more photos from her wedding and wrote, “Three cheers for the #SpecialMarriageAct (Despite notice period etc) At least it exists & gives love a chance… The right to love, the right to choose your life partner, the right to marry, the right to agency these should not be a privilege. @FahadZirarAhmad.”

On Thursday, Swara shared her romantic video along with the caption, “Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcoming to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It’s chaotic but it’s yours.”

Gauahar Khan, Rhea Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, and Richa Chadha among others showered love on the couple.
