Taapsee Pannu lambasts Sujoy Ghosh for insinuating she wasn’t a good mom in ‘Badla’; actress hits back, “Very cheap I must say!”

Taapsee Pannu has been one of the actresses who has never held back from calling a spade a spade. The pretty lady may have had a great bond with director Sujoy Ghosh, but she has always been giving it back to him whenever she feels his tweets are inappropriate or maybe insinuating something else. This mother’s day, the same thing happened again, and Taapsee couldn’t stop herself from lambasting her ‘Badla’ director.

In a similar rage about ‘Kabir Singh’, Taapsee recently spoke to Bollywood Bubble about how she felt ‘Thappad’ should have been Preety’s answer to Kabir. Have a look:

Talking of her altercation with Sujoy Ghosh, Taapsee took to Twitter after the director posted a mother’s day wish taking mother characters from his own films. He wrote along with the picture, “your mother is the closest you’ll ever get to god (sic).” Have a look at the pic:

As you can see Taapsee is missing in the picture. She hit back at Sujoy and wrote, “Listen ! Where is my photo ? I was also a mother !!!!! ??‍♀️ (sic).” Have a look:

Sujoy couldn’t stop laughing and could only say, “??photo getting developed…. (sic).” Have a look:

Taapsee Pannu had been infuriated before as well during the shoot of one of her films. She spoke candidly about the same while chatting with Bollywood Bubble. Have a look:

Coming to talk of Sujoy’s reply, it infuriated Taapsee even further and she hit back with, “Very cheap I must say! Ek toh I agreed to play a mother n then u don’t even put up my picture. Now u wait till u finish the next script n dare u make a mother again ! ? (sic).” Have a look:

Wanting to bring a funny end to this chat, Sujoy wrote, “warna thappad? (sic).” Have a look:

Taapsee didn’t write anything further. Assumedly, she must have been fuming with anger. She may have been a person with grey shade in the movie, but in no ways was she a bad mother. Her scenes with the child were absolutely fabulous and showed that Taapsee can play tough elder characters of a mom.

Even after this, Sujoy and Taapsee remain good friends, and we think, such things can happen amidst good buddies. Don’t you think so?
