Looop Lapeta: Taapsee Pannu shares FIRST motion poster, says ‘time to run’

Taapsee Pannu, who has been shooting back to back, has shared the first motion poster from her upcoming thriller film ‘Looop Lapeta’ on Monday. The film also featured Tahir Raj Bhasin and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead role.

Sharing the motion poster, the ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ actress captioned it as: “Time is ticking, and it is time to run! The animated poster gives a glimpse into the world of ‘Looop Lapeta.’ It also showcases Taapsee’s character running against time. The actress also announced that her film will be released on Netflix. In the film, Taapsee plays the role of Savi. Tahir on the other hand plays her on-screen lover named Satya.

‘Looop Lapeta’ was earlier scheduled to release in January 2021 but was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The thriller drama is a Hindi remake of the German film ‘Run Lola Run’ and is helmed by Aakash Bhatia. It starred Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu. Taapsee steps into the shoes of Franka.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pannu was last seen in Vinil Mathew’s murder mystery ‘Haseen Dillruba’ opposite Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane which was released on Netflix, and ‘Annabelle Sethupathi’ with Vijay Sethupathi was released on Disney+Hotstar and sports drama film, ‘Rashmi Rocket’ which premiered on ZEE5.

Next, Taapsee will be seen in the sci-fi film, ‘Dobaaraa’, Anurag Kashyap’s thriller film produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Cult Movies. This marks Taapsee and Anurag’s third collaboration. She also has ‘Shabaash Mithu’ in which she will portray cricketer Mithali Raj.
