Yash Raj Films’ magnum opus ‘Thugs of Hindostan‘ is one of the most awaited releases. Fans are eager to watch Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan sharing screen space together in the epic drama. Ever since the makers have shared the trailer, fans are unable to hold their excitement for the release of the action-adventure flick. Well, here is some good news. The movie will hit the screens this Diwali and it has also been cleared by the Censor Board of Film Certification.

Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ has been cleared with a ‘UA’ rating by the Censor Board of Film Certification.The CBFC cleared the film with no visual cuts and the major reason for it getting a U/A certificate are the action sequences in the film.

Confirming the news, Rohan Malhotra, who handles the distribution at YRF said, “I am pleased to inform that our movie Thugs of Hindostan has been cleared for public exhibition with a “UA” certificate by Censor Board of Film Certification, India.”

The runtime of the period drama ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is said to be a staggering 2 hours 40 minutes. The action entertainer will have the widest release of all times and if the film releases in Madhya Pradesh, it would get minimum 4800 to 4850 screens across the country. The film is said to be the costliest Bollywood film till date with an estimated budget of Rs 220 crore. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on November 8th.
