The crisis caused by the outbreak of Coronavirus is only increasing day by day. In these testing times, everyone is coming out to offer whatever help they can to ensure that India’s fight against this pandemic meets with success. Several Bollywood celebs too have come out to pledge their support to PM Narendra Modi’s Coronavirus relief fund.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have come forward to contribute to the relief fund.

The ‘Uri’ actor has pledged to donate Rs 1 crore to PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Taking to his social media handle, Vicky wrote, “While I’m blessed enough to be seated with my loved ones in the comforts of my home, there are many who are not as fortunate. In this time of crisis, I humbly pledge to contribute an amount of Rs. 1 crore to PM-CARES and Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. We are in this together and we’ll win this together. Let us all do our bit for a healthier and stronger future.”

Whereas Katrina took to Instagram handle and announced, “I pledge to donate to the PM CARES fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund Maharashtra. Heartbreaking to see the hardship and suffering this pandemic has unleashed in the world.”

The ‘Sooryanvanshi’ actress chose not to reveal the amount that she donated for the PM CARES Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Earlier Akshay Kumar announced that he will be donating Rs. 25 crores from his personal saving to PM CARES Fund. Post his announcement, several other B-town celebs came forward to offer their support.
