Although the wedding is tightly secured and no outsiders are allowed near the venue, Vijay and Rashmika chose to host lavish lunch and dinner spreads for shutterbugs and press personnel from February 24, 2026, up to the wedding day. The Dear Comrade co-stars also informed the media that the same arrangement had been done for them on Wednesday and Thursday.

A source told India Today, “Given the tight security, they are not being allowed anywhere close to the venue, but Vijay and Rashmika wanted to acknowledge their presence and make them a part of the celebration. Starting February 24, they will provide lunch and dinner for the paps and media present for all three days.”

The buffet meals were served at a hotel near the wedding venue, and the couple’s team informed media representatives that similar arrangements would continue throughout the festivities. The strong hospitality gesture has been widely noticed as an elegant way to include those covering the event without compromising the intimate nature of the ceremony.
