RajKummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra’s suspense thriller Hit: The First Case witnessed a big jump in its Day 2 collections at the box office. The film directed by Dr Sailesh Kolanu was released in theatres on Friday, July 15. A gripping storyline clubbed along with the powerful performances of RajKummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, HIT: The First Case has been received well by audiences as well as critics.

Dr Sailesh Kolanu’s directorial Hit: The First Case opened on an optimistic note gauging positive word of mouth, on day 2 it witnessed a jump of 70% at certain places collecting a whopping ₹ 2.01 Crores at the box office on Saturday. With the Day 2 collections at the box office, the RajKummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra starrer made a total of ₹3.36 Crore.

The RajKummar Rao movie is expected to witness further growth in the collections of the third day of its release. Hit is likely set to rake a decent collection for the first weekend with a growth in the second and third-day collections.

Bollywood Bubble gave the movie Hit a rating of three stars in its review. An excerpt from the reveiw said, “HIT: The First Case narrates a gritty story of a homicide mystery which will surely keep you hooked till the end. Even though some of the glitches of the film are inevitable, Hit does make it for a must-watch film.”
