The movie KGF Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel has managed to rake a collection of over 50 crore at the box office, during the second weekend. The film that stars Yash as Rocky Bhai in a key role, was released in theatres on April 14. KGF 2 continues to make a phenomenal run at the box office, with its record-breaking collections. Despite the release of the Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey, the Prashanth Neel directorial is recording a good footfall. The Yash starrer (Hindi) had made a collection of over 50 crore on its opening day.

A Box Office India report said that the Prashanth Neel directed movie has recorded a huge second-weekend collection. The movie has become the first one to collect 10 crore nett in Odisha. Apart from this, it is expected to easily become the third highest-grossing movie in the Mumbai circuit after Bahubali-The Conclusion and Tanhaji-The Unsung Warrior. In total, KGF 2 (Hindi) has made a total collection of 315 crore nett.

According to the report, “KGF 2 recorded a huge second weekend as it collected over 50 crore nett. The film became the first film in history to collect 10 crore nett in Odisha and also crossed the 100 crore nett mark in Mumbai circuit and will easily be the third highest grossing film in the circuit after Bahubali – The Conclusion and Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior.”

Friday – 11,25,00,000 apprx

Saturday – 18,00,00,000 apprx

Second Weekend – 51,25,00,000 apprx

TOTAL – 3,15,00,00,000 apprx

As per the report further, “The total collections of the film stand at around 315 crore nett and by the end of the week it may be that only Bahubali – The Conclusion and Dangal are ahead of it. The film is going to beat Dangal in all circuits except Delhi / UP and East Punjab and it remains to be seen if the total Hindi version number surpasses Dangal.”

Meanwhile, the movie stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Srinidhi Shetty as well, apart from Yash. Bollywood Bubble gave the movie 3.5 stars in its review.
