Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Darr’ to be recreated as a mini series; watch trailer inside

Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic thriller ‘Darr’ is going to be recreated, this time as a mini-series of five parts. The characters of Rahul, Sunil and Kiran from the original film will remain, though the backdrop will be changed to recent times and will be set against fear of digital and cyber-crime. It will deal with the consequences of uncontrolled and unfair usage of social media and other popular modes of communication.

The series is being produced by Y-films, the youth wing of Yash Raj Films. Titled ‘Darr 2.0′, it will be helmed by Vikas Chandra. The cast has not been finalised yet.
