Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Andhadhun’ has been one of the most successful sleeper hits of the last year. Even though the film didn’t cross the Rs 100 Cr mark at the domestic market, the film turned out to be hugely profitable. Now, the film is creating havoc at the Chinese box-office, where it was released this Wednesday.

Trade Expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news about this. He tweeted, “#AndhaDhun embarks on a fantastic start in #China… A mid-week release [Wed], it nears $ 6.5 mn [till Fri], which is remarkable…Wed $ 1.32 mn Thu $ 1.78 mn Fri $ 3.36 mn Total: $ 6.46 mn [₹ 44.70 cr] $ 12 mn [+/-] *extended* weekend on the cards… Incredible! (sic).”

If in just 4 days the film has manged to amass Rs 44.70 cr, the it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it could end up crossing the Rs 100 Cr mark at the Chines box office by Monday. It would be a great achievement for the film. Also, the immensely good word-of-mouth for the movie is something that is working in its favour.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte, Tabu and Anil Dhawan we appreciated for their stellar performances in the movie. Sriram Raghavan’s director has always been impeccable, and with ‘Andhadhun’ he hit the bull’s eye to perfection.
