Dhurandhar Box Office Day 4 (Overseas): Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna’s Actioner Earns More Than Opening Day; Nears Rs 50 Cr Mark

Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and R Madhavan-led Dhurandhar has impressed the global. While the film has collected over Rs 130 crore at the domestic box office, the genre-defying spy–gangster drama from Jio Studios × B62 Studios, directed by Aditya Dhar, has also worked wonders abroad. Dhurandhar Box Office (Overseas)

As per the box office report shared by the makers, Dhurandhar grossed a massive US$ 890K (around Rs 8 crore) on Monday (Day 4). This amount is nearly US$ 100k more than the film’s opening day collection of US$ 800K (approx Rs 7.2 crore). This is a rare phenomenon and shows the immense love pouring in from audiences across the globe, especially given the positive world of mouth. As er the report, the film’s 4 days total is now nearly the Rs 50 crore mark – US$ 4.72million (around Rs 42.48 crores) to be precise.

As per the report, the key territories that contributed to the film’s massive overseas collections include Australia, the UK and Canada. All three territories have recorded strong occupancies, with several centres reporting housefull shows through the weekday .

With this momentum, Dhurandhar is outperforming several major Hindi releases in the overseas market, including Chhaava, Saiyaara, War 2, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani as well as Stree 2.

Giving the film a 4-star rating, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review, “Dhurandhar is worth a watch as it not only has some of Bollywood’s best actors delivering top-notch performances, but it’s a also a patriotic film that honours and celebrates the unknown and unsung heroes who willingly enter the most dangerous of situations in order to make sure the nation is safe.” The review also noted, “Dhurandhar’s music, cinematography and dialogues along with a well-written but lengthy script also deserve rounds of applauds.”
