Gadar 2 box office: Sunny Deol starrer set to cross Aamir Khan’s Dangal to emerge as 4th highest-grosser of all time, collects Rs 375.10 cr

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 is creating havoc at the box office. With every passing day, the film is setting out to create a new record with its collection. Within 8 days of release, the flick crossed the mark of 300 crore and emerged as the third-highest grosser of 2023. On Day 10, the action entertainer raked in Rs 38.90 crore and now stands with a total of Rs 375.10 crore. It is currently the fifth-highest Bollywood grosser of all time at the box office.

Week 1 – Rs 284.63 crore

Friday – Day 8 – Rs 20.50 crore

Saturday – Day 9 – Rs 31.07 crore

Sunday – Day 10 – Rs 38.90 crore

Total collection – Rs 375.10 crore

With this collection, Gadar 2 has outperformed Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 339.16 crore), PK (Rs 340.8 crore), and Sanju (Rs 342.53 crore) to emerge as the fifth-highest grosser of all time. Today it will surpass Aamir Khan’s Dangal to grab the fourth position in the list after Pathaan (Rs 543.05 crore), Baahubali 2 (Rs 510.99 crore), and KGF 2 (Rs 434.70 crore).

Sunny Deol expresses gratitude

The Gadar 2 actor took to his social media account and shared a heartfelt post on the completion of 300 crores at the box office. Sunny shared a picture of himself with a cake featuring the poster of the film. He wrote: “They say Love can’t be measured but I feel so much love coming from all of you each day, everyday (sic).”

About Gadar 2

Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma have all returned to play Tara Singh, Sakeena, and Jeete in the sequel. This time, Tara Singh defies all odds as he has to set his son free from the clutches of the ruthless Pakistani army. The movie was released in theatres on 11 August 2023. At the box office, it competed with Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam starrer OMG 2 and Rajinikanth’s Jailer.
