As Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal is roaring at the box office, here's a list of the highest opening weekend Bollywood movies of 2023. Animal comes third in the list.

Animal movie starring Ranbir Kapoor is ruling the box office. In just a matter of 3 days, the movie created some mega box office records. 1) Animal became the 2nd biggest opener of all time after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan, which earned Rs 75 crore in all versions. 2) It also became the 2nd biggest opener of 2023 and many others. On day 3, Ranbir Kapoor starrer collected Rs 63.46 crore and Rs 7.23 crore in South languages. The total of the film comes to Rs 201.76 crores in all languages. With the latest numbers, Animal has entered the Rs 200 crore club in just three days. The opening weekend collections of Animal are quite commendable.

Jawan Rs 286.16 crores (4 days)

It was an advantage for Jawan as it was released when it had no competition from movies. Plus, Jawan was released on Thursday, giving another advantage of having 4 days for its opening day. After a mega success of Pathaan, fans were quite stoked for Jawan as it was a collaboration of a Bollywood actor with a South director. Jawan starrer Nayanthara, Vijay Sethypathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra and others.

Pathaan Rs 280.75 crores (5 days)

Just like Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan opted to release on Wednesday instead of going for the traditional Friday release. The Siddharth Anand directorial venture enjoyed 5 days and collected solid numbers on its opening day. It was one of the part from the Spy Universe. Pathaan also starred John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.

Animal Rs 201.76 crores

Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna is the latest one to join the bandwagon. The movie has already entered the 200 crore club and found a spot in third position in this list.
