At the beginning of the second week, the mythological period film earned Rs 21.15 Cr and Rs 22.35 Cr on days 8 and 9. With its breathtaking visuals and an expanded narrative, Rishab Shetty addressed lingering questions from the first film, adding depth to the story and continuing to attract viewers into its immersive world.

Bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the banner of Hombale Films, Kantara: Chapter 1 is directed by Rishab Shetty.
