O’Romeo Box Office Day 5: Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri’s Romantic Action Thriller Witnesses Minimal Growth; Inches Towards Rs 50 Cr Mark

Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’Romeo – starring Shahid Kapoor as gangster Ustara, has managed to pull the audiences to the theatres even during week days. As per the latest box office report, the romantic action thriller – also starring Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar and Avinash Tiwary in pivotal roles, has managed to earn more at the domestic box office on Day 5 as compared to Day 4. Despite regular working days, O’Romeo has witnessed notable traction across key urban circuits. As per the box office report, the Shahid Kapoor-led intense actioner witnessed a growth of Rs 80 lakh on Day 5 compared to Day 4 for a nett collection of Rs 5.90 crore. This income on its first Tuesday takes the film’s current domestic nett total to an impressive Rs 45.52 crore.

Day Wise Breakdown

If the film maintains its pace, and earns a minimum of Rs 4.50 crore today, it will surpass the Rs 45 crore mark.

Sajid Nadiadwala presents O’Romeo, a film by Vishal Bhardwaj, produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and VB Films. The film – released theatrically on February 13, is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is based on Hussain Zaidi’s novel Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Impeccable performances by the entire cast – especially Triptii, Nana, Tamannaah, Vikrant and Hussain Dalal, also hit the mark.”
