O’Romeo Box Office Day 6: Sajid Nadiadwala, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Gangster Romance Starring Shahid Kapoor To Cross Rs 50 Cr Mark Today

Shahid Kapoor-led O’Romeo has beat Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav’s Tu Yaa Main to emerge as the better-loved Valentine’s Day release this year. Released on February 13, the Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj-backed gangster romance has been impressing the audience and is now just inches away from touching the Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office with its nett collection. As per the latest box office report, Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri-led romantic action thriller has seen an expected mid-week dip on Wednesday and amassed Rs 3.90 crore. With this amount, the film’s current nett total amounts to Rs 49.41 crores, a mere Rs 59 lakh shy of touching the Rs 50 crore mark.

O’Romeo is all more than likely to cross the Rs 50 crore mark today and thus end week one at the box office on a positive note.

Sajid Nadiadwala presents O’Romeo, a film by Vishal Bhardwaj, produced under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and VB Films. The film – released theatrically on February 13, is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and is based on Hussain Zaidi’s novel Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Aside from Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, the romanticn action thriller also starred Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Vikrant Massey in pivotal roles.

Giving the film a 4-star review, Bollywood Bubble wrote in its review highlighted the best parts of the film writing, “Shahid Kapoor’s spectacular performance, Vishal Bhardwaj’s stellar direction & chatpate dialogues that will make you chuckle, laugh and even leave you a little shock. Impeccable performances by the entire cast – especially Triptii, Nana, Tamannaah, Vikrant and Hussain Dalal, also hit the mark.”
