Anjali Anand REACTS To Gulabi Saree Remix Dhamaal 4 Song

When asked about Bollywood making remix songs nowadays, Anjali Anand, who performed Gulabi Saree in Dhamaal 4, said, “Mujhe jab pata chala ki yeh gaane par ho raha hai, I was like, ‘Wow! Superhit hone wala hai yeh.’ I love it. I know remakes hote hain aur sab bolte hain, ‘Remakes banana band karo, Bollywood kuch naya lao.’ But sunte waqt, some of them are very nice, and some of them are not nice. I agree. But this one, I think, is very cute. Jab maine pehli baar suna, I was like, ‘It’s so cute.’ And I love it so much.”

She continued, “Main toh ek opportunity ka wait kar rahi thi. So don’t hate on the song. Mera pehla gaana hai, toh I love it. Main toh bas isi opportunity ka intezaar kar rahi thi ki mujhe dance karne mile, perform karne mile, aur people see ki, ‘Dekho, mujh jaisi ladki bhi, tum jaisi ladki bhi actor ban sakti hai. Yes, mujh jaisi ladki bhi dance kar sakti hai. Mere upar bhi ek poora gaana dedicate ho sakta hai. Main bhi, you know, khoobsurat saariyon mein, waadiyon mein naach sakti hoon'”.

Anjali On Being Fat-Shamed
