Gaurav Khanna On Mridul’s Eviction Says, “Mera Bhai Jaa Raha Tha”

Reflecting on his bond with Mridul Tiwari, a YouTube sensation, Gaurav shared that such friendships are rare in the history of Bigg Boss. He said, “Bade rare honge aise bonds kyuki genuine wo banda ro raha tha khushi mein. Isiliye maine usko peeth par uthaya aur wo trophy maine usko di.” Explaining why he handed over the trophy to Mridul, Gaurav added, “Maine kaha tu utha ye trophy kyuki jitni meri mehnat hai, utni hi tumlog ki bhi hai bahar.”

For Gaurav, the win symbolised collective love and support. “Jitne mere real chahne wale hai, ye sab unki jeet hai, ye Mridul ki jeet hai,” he said. Sharing a deeply personal moment, he recalled taking Mridul and Pranit along when he visited Siddhivinayak Temple after his win. “Isiliye jab main Siddhivinayak gaya, main usko bhi apne saath leke gaya. Hum mil ke matha tekenge. Pranit ko bhi leke gaya kyuki yahi mere close dost the.”

Gaurav emphasised that these friendships were formed naturally and not for the show. “Na maine show ke liye dost banaye, ye organically hum dost bane,” he said, adding that their differences made the bond even more special. “Humari umar alag, hum jahan rehte hai wo alag, humare professions alag.” While many friendships within the house were formed among people with similar professions or groups, Gaurav believes his bond stood out for its authenticity.

Gaurav Khanna On Friendship With Pranit

Recalling emotional moments, he shared, “We were genuinely happy for each other.” When Pranit was asked who deserved to win apart from himself, he took Gaurav’s name, and Gaurav did the same for him. Talking about Mridul’s eviction, Gaurav became visibly emotional. “Jab Mridul evict hua tha, main bohot udaas tha. Usne gale laga mujhe aur kaan mein bol ke gaya ki bhai winner banna hai.” Gaurav added, “Main itna roya ki apne aap ko rok nahi paya, because I was like yaar mera bhai jaa raha hai chhota.” For him, these moments defined what real bonds looked like.

Gaurav also spoke about recently doing a stand-up comedy segment with Pranit, calling it a fun experience. He said, “Hum Bigg Boss ghar mein bhi aise hi maze karte the.” Late nights in the house often turned into laughter-filled jam sessions. “Jab sab so jaate the, hum log bohot haste the, jokes aur unke PM show ki jamming karte the,” he recalled. When Pranit invited him to a show, Gaurav promised to come, and he kept that promise. “Toh wo mauka mil gaya,” he said.

On the professional front, Gaurav revealed how Mridul pushed him to explore social media. “Mridul bolta tha aap social media pe aao, aap kuch karte nahi ho, aap sikho,” he shared. Encouraged by his friend, Gaurav launched his YouTube channel, which initially received a great response. “Maine channel khola, YouTube bhi bada accha jaa raha tha, pata nahi kuch fas-was gaya hai,” he added with a laugh.
