EXCLUSIVE: Karan Patel opens up about infidelity in relationships: You don’t know till you have gone through it

Karan Patel is one of the most renowned actors in the television industry. Karan has gained a chunk of fans and followers through Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. He has left the audience mighty impressed with his character of Raman Bhalla. Speaking about his personal life, Karan Patel is married to Ankita Bhargava, and the two are blessed with a daughter, Mehr.

Now, we had the chance to speak with Karan Patel on Bollywood Bubble’s podcast Let’s Talk. During the chat, the actor shared his view about infidelity and cheating in relationships.

Karan Patel opens up about infidelity in relationships

Bringing up the comparison of the relationships that used to happen earlier and the ones that happen today, there is a drastic change. Addressing this, Karan said that social media is to be blamed for it. Further, we asked him about his take on infidelity in relationships.

He said, “It happens and it will continue to happen in every part of the world. But infidelity also depends from person to person as to what their reasons are. For us, we term everything as ‘He’s had an affair, he is cheating.” But you don’t know the circumstances that has escalated to that level of what that person has gone through. I think it’s too personal a subject for a third person to comment on somebody else’s relationship because you don’t know till you have gone through it. So, if they are doing it let them do it. It’s their life, as long it’s not eating into yours. Give people their space, don’t breathe down their neck.”

Before Karan got married to Ankita, he was dating actress Kamya Punjabi and the two were one of the most talked about couples in the Television industry. However, things took an ugly turn when they broke up in 2015. Earlier, Kamya Punjabi had revealed that Karan Patel had cheated on her.

Currently, both Karan and Kamya Punjabi are happily married to their respective partners.

Not just this, further in the interview, Karan also opened up about how he created a legacy of his own in the Indian television industry.
