Rahul Deshpande On Nana Patekar Comforting Him During His First Action Sequence

When asked about a memorable behind-the-scenes moment and the most challenging scene to film, Rahul Deshpande said, “Difficulty chasing scene mein thi kyunki maine kabhi zindagi mein pistol haath mein nahi li thi. That was very challenging for me. Mera pehla shot ek chase sequence tha aur mujhe pata bhi nahi tha ki gun kaise hold karte hain. Maine galat tareeke se pakdi toh action director ne kaha, ‘Nahi, ek haath se maarna hai tumko.’ So that was a learning for me. Woh sequence mere, Nana (Patekar) ji aur Shahid (Kapoor) ji ke beech tha, aur wahi sabse toughest tha kyunki maine kabhi action kiya hi nahi tha, sirf filmon mein dekha tha. “

The actor further opened up about performing his first-ever action sequence, saying, “Jaise maine kaha, Nana (Patekar) ji bahut sweet the. Unhone notice kiya ki main thoda uncomfortable hoon, mujhe yeh sab nahi aata. Unhone mera haath pakad kar kaha, ‘You don’t worry, tum bas character ke hisaab se react karo, main sab handle kar lunga.’ Aur phir wahi hua, main bas react kar raha tha aur saare action unhone handle kiye. It was a very wholesome experience.”
