Amid frequent link-up rumours with Chaahat Pandey across shows like The 50 and Bigg Boss, Chaahat Pandey remarked about changing the audience’s perception. When asked about his take on her statement and what his equation is with her, Rajat Dalal said, “Dekho, ek bahut simple basic cheez hai. Jab do log kisi cheez se khush hote hain, tabhi woh cheez hoti hai. Baaki chaar log bahar kya bana rahe hain, mujhe koi problem nahi hai. Kis wajah se usne kya bola hai, usne mere saath discuss nahi kiya.”

The powerlifter further added,” Agar karti toh main kuch bol pata. Chaahat Pandey meri acchi dost hai—usse upar kuch bhi nahi hai, usse neeche kuch bhi nahi hai. Hum log kai baar alag-alag jagah, alag mood aur emotions mein cheezein bol dete hain, aur baad mein realise hota hai. Toh ispe main kya hi bolun—main kuch nahi bol sakta.”

After Khanzaadi claimed in an exclusive conversation that Chaahat Pandey clashed with her out of fear of her growing closeness with Rajat Dalal, when asked about the same, he said, “Dekho, no doubt ban sakta tha. Main deny nahi karunga. Khanzaadi ke saath thodi vibe bhi match ho rahi thi beech-beech mein, hum baith ke baat bhi karte the. Mujhe sirf ek cheez ka problem laga—jab usne danger zone mein daalne ke liye joh log choose kiye, woh decision mere personal perspective se galat tha. Hum log ishara karke bhi bol rahe the, phir bhi galat log choose ho gaye.”

Adding to this, he said,” Agar woh us din un logon ko nahi chunti, toh eventually Khanzaadi hi bachti. Par jab chaar log danger zone mein hain aur unmein se teen hamare main log hain, toh hum pehle un teenon ko hi bachayenge. Toh phir usse vote kaise milti? Humne yeh choose kiya ki usse vote nahi deni. Par woh situation tab bani kyunki baaki logon ko vote deni padi. Hum kabhi nahi chahte the ki aisa ho, par uski responsibility sirf uski thi.”

After Khanzaadi alleged that Chaahat Pandey had abused her, she also made claims that it was reportedly cut from the telecast. When asked about the same, Rajat Dalal said, “Dekho, mujhe pata hai ki ye cheez hui hai, lekin start kisne kiya, ye mujhe nahi pata. Agar aap dekhenge, to us waqt room mein blinds gire hue the. Archana thi, Shrutika thi, shayad Manisha bhi thi. Start kisne kiya, exact koi nahi aapko bata sakta hai. Maine kuch dekha ya suna nahi, isliye main dono mein se kisi ko sahi ya galat nahi bol sakta. Bas itna pata hai ki wahan bolna ho sakta tha, aur bahut below the belt bhi, par start kisne kiya, ye mujhe nahi pata.”
