rajveer deol, karan deol

Rajveer Deol recently made his debut with Dono, making him the third generation of actors from the Deol family. Sunny Deol is a proud father as his son has won hearts with his performance. But before Rajveer, his brother Karan Deol made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Unfortunately, the film didn’t work and in a recent chat with Bollywood Bubble, Rajveer spoke about it.

Rajveer Deol on brother Karan Deol’s failed Bollywood debut

Karan made his debut with the expectations of being the first person from Deols’ third generation as well as Sunny Deol’s son. The scrutiny was a lot on him and somewhere he succumbed to that. When asked if that recpetion somewhere made him question his decision of joining acting, Rajveer agreed.

He said, “That period of time, it takes a while to bounce back from that. I definitely had fears of me going through something similar. But I realized that if I just keep working. there’s something called the acting craft that does not give a s*** whether your movie does well or not, what other people think or where you come from. But if you put your time into that, you will get somewhere if you put genuine honest work into that. So, once I realized that, the fears were just slowly evaporating from my thoughts.”

Karan’s advice to his brother…

So, did Karan offer him any advice from his experience? Rajveer replied, “Me and my brother don’t really talk like that. We talk telepathically. He knows my mood swings, I know his mood swings. I know what he’s thinking of by just hearing him talk and seeing him walk and what he’s doing throughout the day. I just know where his mindset is. What we did for each other is we just laughed a lot. We made life lighter for ourselves in that dark time and both of us are ready to bounce back.”

Rajveer on his bond with Drisha Acharya

In June 2023, Karan Deol got married to his long-time partner and now wife, Drisha Acharya in a lavish wedding. When asked about his equation with his sister-in-law, Rajveer shared, “I’m very close to Drisha. I considered her my sister like 8 years ago. So, I told her anything ever happens, you’re always my sister and always going to be my sister.”

Rajveer and Karan surely represent a true brotherly bond. The young star spoke about a lot of other things including father Sunny Deol, uncle Bobby Deol and grandfather Dharmendra.
