Diwali festival is about lights, happiness and togetherness. Everyone in this country celebrates this festival with utmost love and joy. But there are some whose Diwali has become extra special after a new member entered their family and their lives. Well, we are talking about babies. Several Bollywood and television stars have become new parents and have embraced parenthood this year.
Having said that, it is a double celebration for them as this would be their first Diwali to celebrate it with their kids. Stars like Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu-Karan Singh Grover, Disha Parmar-Rahul Vaidya have welcomed their first child and will be celebrating Diwali with them for the first time.

Bollywood’s power couple Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter turned 1 recently and it might baffle you how come they are on the list. Well, Raha Kapoor was born on November 6 last year and Diwali was in October 2022. Hence, it is the first time that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are celebrating Diwali with their daughter.
Pankhuri Awasthy and Gautam Rode – twins
Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy welcomed their twins on July 26 this year. They even revealed the names of their twin babies, Radhya and Raditya. For them, the celebration is going be 4 times happening as they are blessed with twins.
Swara Bhasker and Fahad – baby girl
After marrying activist Fahad Ahmad in February 2023, Swara welcomed her first child, a daughter Raabiyaa on 23 September this year.
Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao – baby girl
Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao welcomed their first child, a daughter in October this year. They even shared a lovely post along with a joint statement. It read, “Praising God for the greatest blessing He could ever grant us, our little girl, Baby Sequeira born on the first of October 2023.”
Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya- baby girl
Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar were blessed with a daughter on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi, September 20. The Indian Idol singer said, “Goddess Laxmi has arrived at my home on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.”
Ileana D’Cruz- baby boy
Ileana D’Cruz welcomed her baby boy, Koa Phoenix Dolan, in August with her partner Michael Dolan. She recently celebrated her son’s birthday when he turned 2 months old.
Ram Charan and Upasana- baby girl
Ram Charan and Upasana became parents to a baby girl who was born on June 20, 2023. They named their daughter, Klin Kaara Konidela.
Jawan director Atlee and wife Priya- baby boy
Atlee announced the arrival of his son on January 1, 2023, with his wife Priya. He shared a lovely note that read, “They were right. There’s no feeling in the world like this. And just like tat our baby boy is here! A new exciting adventure of parenthood starts today! Grateful. Happy. Blessed.” Atlee’s Diwali is special one for the arrival of his son and the other is the mega success of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan.
Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta- baby Boy
Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth were blessed with a baby boy on 19 July 2023. They have not revealed his face yet on social media but they must be over the moon right now with his arrival.
Sana Khan and Mufti Anas Saiyad- baby boy
Sana Khan welcomed her first child, a boy named with husband Mufti Anas Saiyad on 5 July 2023. They even revealed his name and that is Saiyad Tariq Jamil.
Mohit Raina and wife Aditi Sharma- baby Girl
Apart from professionally, Mohit Raina’s personal life has also flourished as he was blessed with a baby girl on March 17 with his wife Aditi Sharma.
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover- baby girl
The Raaz actor celebrates her motherhood and her daughter every day ever since she arrived on November 12, 2022. Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover named their daughter Devi Basu Singh Grover.
