Sonu Sood is hands down the first name that pops in your mind when you think of a real-life hero. He went way beyond the boundaries to help the migrants and Covid-19 victims in the first wave and now he is just as ready in the second one too. He opened a channel called ‘India Fights With Covid’ on Telegram mobile application to be prompt and help out anyone in need.

Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna

Akshay and Twinkle recently donated 100 oxygen concentrators to help curb the pandemic and save as many patients. Akshay had also donated Rs 1 crore to Gautam Gambhir’s foundation to help the Covid-19 victims.

Priyanka Chopra

The global star had initiated a fundraiser to help India amidst the second wave of Covid-19. She has also been very active on social media in sharing information about the COVID-19 resources.

Salman Khan

Salman had arranged for food trucks and also helped out in distributing food kits to the medical staffs and frontline workers. Salman’s food trucks have been delivering food kits in Worli and Juhu extending their services to more places all over the city.

Bhumi had recently recovered from Covid-19 and she is quite active on social media in sharing posts about coronavirus resources. The actress also started a drive to help identify plasma donors along with encouraging people to donate plasma.

Shilpa was seen talking about the concerning rise in the hunger crisis amidst the pandemic. She had initiated a platform called ‘Report Hunger – Khaana Chahiye Foundation’ with the help of which the actress is providing cooked meals or groceries to those in need.

Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife Tahira Kashyap had contributed to the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s relief fund as they issued a statement on social media that read, “We’ve been in the eye of the storm since last year. This pandemic has broken out hearts, made us endure pain and suffering like never before, showed us how solidarity with one another can make us handle this humanitarian crisis.”

Ajay Devgn has joined hands with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in Mumbai in order to provide emergency medical facilities to the citizens of the nation. He also collaborated with Hinduja Hospital to set up ICU. The Singham star is also providing funds for healthcare facilities.

Sushmita Sen

Sushmita Sen also helped locate oxygen cylinders for a hospital in Delhi and she sought support from her fans to transport the cylinders from Mumbai to Delhi.

Sunil Shetty

The ace actor had launched an initiative called the ‘Mission MillionAir’ to provide people free oxygen concentrators. The aim was to help out those who can’t afford appropriate health care. Suniel also urged fans to come ahead and contribute.

Siddhant Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor’s brother and actor Siddhant Kapoor had tested positive for Covid-19 in December 2020. After surviving the pandemic he donated his plasma to help the other victims recover from the virus. He also urged other people to donate plasma.

Urvashi Rautela

The Pagalpanti actress donated 27 oxygen concentrators through her Urvashi Rautela Foundation in Uttarakhand.
