Kylie Jenner becomes FIRST woman to gain 300 million followers on Instagram

American model and businesswoman Kylie Jenner has become the first celebrity woman to reach 300 million followers on Instagram. The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star shares the spot with Lionel Messi who also has 300 million followers.

Earlier, it was singer Ariana Grande, the most followed female personality, who currently has 289 million followers. However, the title for the person with the largest following on Instagram worldwide still remains with football sensation Cristiano Ronaldo. He has 389 million followers.  Instagram’s official account takes the top spot with 460 million followers.

Jenner previously held the record for the most-liked picture on Instagram. In 2020, the 24-year-old was also declared the youngest billionaire by Forbes magazine.

Meanwhile, Kylie has been maintaining a low online profile, following her boyfriend and American rapper Travis Scott’s Astroworld Concert, wherein on November 5th last year, at least ten people died and hundreds were injured in a crowd crush moving toward the stage during Scott’s performance.

Kylie will soon be welcoming her second baby with Travis Scott. The star often shares several photos of herself on her Instagram handle flaunting her bare baby bump which also shows her pregnancy glow.

Earlier, Kylie had welcomed the new year 2022 by posting a black and white picture of herself showing off her pregnancy bump on social media. In her caption, she talked about the blessings and heartaches of the past year and prayed for a love-filled new year. “As 2022 is approaching I’ve been reflecting on this last year and the blessings that it brought but also the many heartaches it held. I will never forget this year and all the significant changes it made to my life. I pray this new year is filled with a lot of love for all of you and I hope everyone stays safe and healthy during this time,” she wrote.
