Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer ‘Kaabil’ is going steady at the box office as the movie has minted Rs 5.25 crore on day 9, as per the figures shared by the production house. The total 9-day business of the movie stands at Rs 90.63 crore and that’s a good number.

‘Kaabil’ got a big first week as it released on January 25 and had the advantage of Republic Day followed by a weekend. The movie was pitted against Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Raees’, but it has still managed to hold strongly at the box office.

‘Kaabil’ earlier had 40% screens, but with a great performance, the exhibitors planned to increase the number of screens. In fact, ‘Kaabil’ has also become the first movie to release in Pakistan after the ban on Indian movies was uplifted in the country.

‘Kaabil’ is directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The story revolves around a blind couple who face a tragedy and the husband is out to seek revenge for the death of his wife. It was the first time that Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam essayed the roles of blind people and they surely did justice to their roles. Supporting performances by actors like Rohit Roy and Ronit Roy also added to the film positively.
