Fawad Khan opens up about his ‘no kissing clause’

Fawad Khan is B-Town’s latest heartthrob, and why not? The actor has got a charm to die for! His introduction to the Indian audience was the popular TV show ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’, followed by his Bollywood debut in ‘Khoobsurat’ opposite Sonam Kapoor. Fawad will be next seen in Shakun Batra’s ‘Kapoor & Sons’ along with Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.

Reports suggested that the ‘Khoobsurat’ jodi might be making a comeback with Shashanka Ghosh’s ‘Battle of Bittora’ produced by Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor. However, now we hear that Fawad has turned the offer down. Here’s why!

While date issues were one reason behind Fawad rejected the offer, he also admitted that he wasn’t prepared to perform intimate scenes onscreen, as he believes that the Pakistani audience aren’t quite ready to embrace such content yet.

“I think it’s like sex education. So when you try to educate children about sex, how do you tell them why are you doing this? So if they take their families in the cinemas now, it would be difficult for them to be explaining because they have not been exposed to this for the longest time. Obviously, they have certain constraints our censorship laws are different and sort of mould the minds of the audience,” the actor explained.
