Salman Khan is shooting for ‘Sultan‘ in Uttar Pradesh. The actor arrived late on Tuesday night in a convoy of a dozen cars amidst tight security in Bihargarh village in Morna Tehsil of Muzaffarnagar, where the team will be shooting for some important scenes. The police personnel have swung in action on the commands of Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav. The CM has given strict instruction and deployed 1,000-strong police contingent for the shoot.

Sources say, “Salman arrived late on Tuesday night in a convoy of a dozen cars amidst tight security. He is staying at a farmhouse in the outskirts of the village. As soon as word spread that the star would be arriving, A multitude of his fans began thronging the area, but they were kept at bay. Salman was escorted to the farmhouse from the back gate. He had over 20 bouncers accompanying him. The road leading to the farmhouse was closed for the public and only people associated with the film could enter the premises.”

Salman Khan started shooting on Wednesday. An Akhada is being built on the outskirts of the village where a wrestling bout will be filmed. Salman will also be seen lifting a tractor and shoot certain scenes at the local block office where the unit had put up boards saying ‘Haryana’. Salman was even seen riding a scooter for one of the shots.

Fans were also on the lookout for a dekko of Anushka Sharma who is playing the romantic lead opposite Salman in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. But sadly for them, Anushka has already completed her part in the film and is at present in Punjab shooting for her home production ‘Phillauri’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh.

‘Sultan’ will hit the screens on Eid this year.
