Ranveer Singh felicitated with the ‘Indian of the Year’ Award

The energetic and lively actor Ranveer Singh has added another feather to his cap. He is felicitated with the ‘Indian of the Year’ – for Special Achievement.

The 30 year old actor has definitely come a long way. He had a smashing debut with the film’ Band Baaja Baraat’ in 2010 and has worked in many entertainers like ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’, ‘Lootera’, ‘Gunday’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

Ranveer says, “ I’m elated to have my name included in the list of stalwarts and legends of the Indian entertainment industry at this early stage in my career.  I’m thankful to everyone who has contributed towards my work. Receiving this huge honour has only motivated me further to work harder to hone my craft going forward  and be the most wholesome entertainer I can be.”

The actor is currently shooting for his forthcoming movie ‘Befikre’ in Paris along with actress Vaani Kapoor.  His father received the award on his behalf at an event in the capital on Thursday from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. For Ranveer, that was his “proudest moment”.
