Huma Qureshi roped in to star in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Jolly LLB 2’

We all know that Akshay Kumar will be seen playing a lawyer in the sequel of Subhash Kapoor’s ‘Jolly LLB’. And now, Huma Qureshi has joined the cast of the film. Akshay will be seen as Jolly aka Jagdish Tyagi in the movie. This will be for the first time when we will get to see Akki and Huma on the big screen together.

A source close to the development has quoted in a daily, “Akshay really liked the script and Huma came on board a fortnight ago after she cleared a look test.”

The first instalment was inspired by the Sanjeev Nanda hit-and-run case of 1999, however it is being kept under wraps that on which incident the second part is based on.

Saurabh Shukla, who played the judge in ‘Jolly LLB’ and bagged a National Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, will be seen in a special appearance alongside Arshad Warsi who was the lead in the first instalment.

The shooting of the film kick starts on August 25.
