Ranbir Kapoor reacts on FIR against him

Bollywood’s heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is embroiled in a legal controversy, the ‘Barfi’ actor has an FIR filed against him for promoting an online shopping portal. The legal action has been taken by a lawyer Rajat Bansal, a resident of Keshav Nagar near Lucknow.

The lawyer had purchased a television worth Rs. 30000, but had not receive the product. He had filed an FIR against Ranbir Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and the directors of the shopping portal.

Speaking about the FIR at the Tamasha Trailer launch Ranbir Kapoor said, “Yes, I heard about it and on checking with my team I got to know that I am not a part of askmebazaar.com. So I am safe.”

Ranbir Kapoor is busy gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Tamasha that also stars Deepika Padukone. The Imtiaz Ali film releases on November 27, 2015.
