Abhijeet-Bhattacharya

Since morning, news is all about singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s Twitter account getting suspended for his offensive tweets. Though Twitter stands divided on this incident, the singer has come out in open to share his opinion on the same. Abhijeet really has some strong opinion to make on people who share their views on this platform.

He quoted to a news agency, “Twitter is a platform for anti-nationals, anti-Indian Army, anti-Modi, anti-Hindu and for terrorist supporters. I would say all are Naxals, they should be punished severely. It’s jihadi Twitter.”

He further added, “We are not only singers… We are the voice of our nation and come out openly against anti-nationals. So, Twitter is trying to shut our voice.”

He blamed Arundhati Roy for this incident and said that she is the mastermind behind this suspension of his account. He stated, “All Arundhati and JNU group (are) behind this (suspension and deletion), after Paresh Rawal and me tweeted against Arundhati for her anti-India stand.”

Just a few days back, Paresh Rawal had tweeted that Army should tie Arundhati Roy to their jeep and parade her in Kashmir valley, instead of stone-pelters. His tweet had created quite a controversy on Twitter. Let’s see what happens next!
