abhijeet bhattacharya

Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is notorious for his aggressive and distasteful tweets on his page. His account was recently suspended by Twitter owing to his unhealthy remarks against JNU student-activist Shehla Rashid.

The situation worsened when singer Sonu Nigam too deleted his Twitter. Later on, Twitter India released an official statement saying, “We want people to feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs but we draw the line when it comes to behaviour that crosses the line into abuse, including behaviour designed to consciously harass, intimidate, or silence another person’s voice.” (Also Read: Twitter is a platform for anti-nationals, Abhijeet Bhattacharya after getting suspended on Twitter)

Soon, we saw quite a few profiles in the name of Abhijeet crop up on Twitter and they gave way to a confusion as people started believing that the singer is back on the micro-blogging site. But those were all fake accounts and we have spotted the original account as the singer himself has posted a video message on the page announcing his new Twitter profile. In the video, he has spoken up against ‘anti-nationals’ saying that he supports the Indian Army and will not spare anyone who speaks ill against the country. He has further stated that all the other accounts operating in his name are fake, trying to tarnish his image. Here’s the video:

Uh oh! We wonder what new tweets he has up his sleeves now.
