Shah Rukh considered Dilip Kumar as his inspiration and role model. He shared a very close bond with the Naya Daur actor and his wife Saira Banu.

Arrives to pay last respects

Dilip Kumar was admitted to hospital a few days ago. The 98-year-old actor died on Wednesday due to age related issues. Shah Rukh and several other celebs paid a visit to the late actor's house to offer condolences.

Shah Rukh shared a special bond with the late actor

Saira and Dilip considered Shah Rukh Khan as their own son. In fact, long back Saira had said that if she ever had a son with Dilip he would look like Shah Rukh.

The security around Saira Banu's residence was beefed up as SRK arrived. Several other celebs and politicians also visited Dilip Kumar's residence to pay their last respects.
