Jr NTR, Prashanth Neel’s Film POSTPONED By A Year; First Glimpse To Release On THIS Date

The release date of the highly anticipated film by Prashanth Neel starring Jr NTR has been postponed. The first glimpse now scheduled to arrive on May 20. Taking to his Instagram handle, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, also known as Jr NTR and grandson of N T Rama Rao, shared a new poster along with the updated release date.

The film is now set to hit theaters on June 11, 2027. It has been pushed back from its original date of June 25, 2026. In his post, Jr NTR wrote, “HIS REIGN… HIS SOIL… JUNE 11, 2027… IT IS.” Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film features Jr NTR in the lead role. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. This isn’t the first delay for the project.

It was initially scheduled for release on January 9, 2026, before being moved to June 25, 2026. Now, the release has been postponed by over a year. The shooting began in February 2025 at Ramoji Film City.

Jr NTR’s Projects

Jr NTR was last seen in the Bollywood film War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, directed by Ayan Mukerji. Despite being one of the most awaited films in the Yash Raj Spy Universe, it failed to achieve the expected box office success. The film also starred Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana and others.

Before that, Jr NTR starred in Devara: Part 1, directed by Kortala Siva, alongside Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Released in 2024, the film was followed by plans for a sequel, which is expected to arrive soon.
